Inspection

TSR pest control professionals inspect the site to identify the pest problem and the extent of its population. They locate the pest entry points to the structure, and detect the source(s) that have caused the growth of the pest population (e.g., moisture, food, warmth, and harborage). Our pest specialists also determine the growth stage of the structure's pest population. Relying on the information they have collected from the site, and on their knowledge of the pest biology and behaviour, TSR's pest control professionals go on to determine the most effective treatment to prevent the structure from re-infestation.

Preventative Pest Management

Preventing re-infestation in a particular structure is a more effective and long-term solution for the pest problem than relying exclusively on treatment. Therefore, TSR pest control specialists offer a preventative pest management to ensure that structures remain pest-proof: They check the structure's perimeter to remove debris, install traps and temper-resistant bait stations at the suspected pest entrances to the structure, and provide an on-going maintenance service. If necessary, our professionals also build barriers such as screenings and wire mesh nettings for  vents, pipes, and  drains. They also apply quality silicon and acryl latex caulking into cracks and crevices in the affected areas.

Treatment

TSR prefers the Integrated Pest Management approach in all of its pest treatment services which combines non-chemical and chemical treatment methods.

Non-Chemical Methods

Our technicians use heat-application equipment such as commercial dry-vapour steamers that have trigger-tip temperatures in excess of  120 C, which kills bed bugs, flea, dust mite, eggs and larva, and eliminates mold and mildew. TSR's technicians also use powerful industrial HEPA vacuums to remove all pest eggs, pupa, and larva.

Other non-chemical treatment methods used by our technicians include a variety of traps.

Chemical Pesticide Methods

When it is necessary, TSR uses spot sprays, pesticide powders, and bait stations. TSR Pest Control has an operator with a strong pesticide research and chemical research background, which allows the company to choose the safest and most effective chemical treatment methods in order to meet your pest control needs.

Safety

TSR's trained technicians give priority to preventing the environmental contamination by pesticides. We apply pesticides safely and only when necessary.

To protect residents', customers', and bystanders' health, we apply all safety regulations when using toxic pesticides, such as posting warning signs, using different covers to avoid contaminating pet areas, toys, kitchen appliances, and areas that come into contact with food. When bait stations are deemed necessary, we use only the temper-resistant ones that protect children and pets from accidental contact with chemicals.
